SuprEvo offers the possibility of living a taste experience where the tasting of extra virgin olive oil is preceded by a technical demonstration for an unmissable opportunity to learn about its organoleptic properties, directly in the places of production. The tasting is then enriched with other sweet and savory delicacies connected to the world of oil, also available for purchase in our shop.
An exclusive tasting room
The tasting is a fundamental moment to spread the culture and knowledge of the world of extra virgin olive oil. This awareness motivated us to set up a modern and welcoming Tasting Room inside the SuprEvo which, flanked by a well-equipped kitchen, is equipped with everything necessary for tasting our specialties and for organizing training and convivium.
An experience of many flavours
After the professional glass tasting, the actual tasting begins with some of the best extra virgin olive oils of our production paired with typical Tuscan bread. The proposal is then personalized according to the visitors’ requests and age, ranging between foods from the rural tradition of the area and innovative gourmet solutions to satisfy every palate. From the fine flavor of vegetables in extra virgin olive oil, to the refreshing and aromatic taste of the “Olascia” liqueur obtained from an infusion of olive leaves, up to the tasting of other sweet and savory delicacies to which the oil contributes to giving taste and authenticity. All the specialties discovered during the tasting experience can then be found and purchased at the shop.
Oil tasting guide
Let yourself be led to the discovery of various high quality extra virgin olive oils that release the very essence of Tuscany. The tasting is preceded by a theoretical and technical demonstration that allows you to appreciate the fragrances, qualities and flavors of the product, accompanying you step by step to stimulate all the senses, to savor the typical bitter and spicy taste, to perceive the aromas of aromatic herbs , spices and fresh vegetables.
Here are the tasting phases:
- Pour the oil into a dark glass to prevent the color of the oil from influencing your judgment
- Place the glass in the palm of one hand and place the other hand on top of it to enclose all the aromas of the oil
- Swirl the glass while still holding it in your hands, to bring the oil to a temperature of around 27° C, ideal for releasing its aromas
- Bring the glass to your nose and inhale deeply to smell the fruity aroma
- Sip a small amount of oil between your lower lip and tightly clenched teeth, and then inhale decisively through your mouth to spray it into your oral cavity and stimulate all your taste buds

The Tasting Room is enriched by a permanent artistic work signed by Fabio Petani, one of the most famous Italian street artists: from New York to Paris, his murals are now present in buildings and public places all over the world. Art becomes an expressive tool with a strong impact to describe the oil and the olive tree, with lines, shapes and volumes that come together harmoniously to represent the natural elements identifying SuprEvo.
